I could not make the 11 am swim at Langton today, so I just completed my 5,000 yards at Dixon. It was a long, dark, and lonely 5,000 yards (Bronwen had to leave early) and I passed the half-way mark all alone! OK, OK, I guess it wasn't THAT BAD because a couple different people approached me asking if I was "one of the 100-milers," so I was able to get a little cocky and think I was famous for awhile-which made the loneliness bearable (violins playing in the background...)

Congratulations!!! Yippee, halfway!! Mileposts are wonderful things! Especially when on long journeys! You're my heros!
